In March 2021, we received requests from Mali client for our B55 dredge pump units which sold years before, and learned that they need to transport the sand in the mining area which is a big river to a distance of 500 meters to get profit from mined sand business.
After many discussion, we proposed that the pump unit installed on the floating pontoons and equipped with suction head. This is very convenient for their project site. We recommended the 10 inch model to meet his high sand capacity and also the 8 inch same pump model with complete boat .
The client lived in Guangzhou and he intended to visit out factory to report to his boss in Mali. So we show him around for a day and discussed the dredger decision. Finally the client chose the 8 inch model.
However, due to the long distance required by the customer, OCEAN PUMP’s engineers suggested to choose a Yuchai 163 kilowatt diesel engine with a high head dredge pump. Meanwhile, in order to match the speed, use the famous domestic Hangzhou FENJIN 135 model gearbox.
