Recently, we received an enquiry from James from Lagos, Nigeria. James wanted to buy a sand dredger for the construction project of the local government. He hope we could provide the most suitable one dredger, because he is not very familiar with sand dredgers.
Subsequently, our sales managers and James conducted detailed project construction requirements. The detailed requirements are as follows:
- Where to dredge sand? What is the depth of sand dredging?
- Pumping sand in the river and 7-10 meters depth.
- Type of sand?
- Fine sand
- What is the output of sand dredgerper hour?
- 85 m3/h
- How far does the sand need to be transported?
- 180 meters
James also provided two construction pictures of his friend’s project to see if it could help.
Based on the above parameters and actual working conditions, our engineers have determined the type of sand dredger, which is a 10 inch sand dredger of Ocean Pump.

Because of our professionalism and excellent service, James paid us a deposit three days later (our regular payment rule is 40% T/T as deposit, and the balance 60% T/T is paid before shipment). At the same time, we immediately arranged the procurement and production of sand dredger.
Through the efforts of the workshop engineers, we finished the production within 20 days, but this does not mean it has been completed.
Because every one of our products, whether it is a pump or a pump unit, or a sand dredger, needs to undergo strict workshop tests before leaving the factory. After the test is qualified and approved by the customer, we will let the customer pay the balance. After James paid, we contacted our freight forwarder in Qingdao to reserve a space, apply for the certificate of CO and SONCAP certification, so that customers could easily do the customs clearance and receive the goods in Lagos.
52 days later, James told us that he had received the sand dredger and was highly satisfied with our service. He hoped that there would be more cooperation opportunities in the future to achieve a win-win situation for both parties.
