1. The sand mining dredger is composed of six parts including hull, sand pump, diesel engine, hanger, hose and anchor.
2. Sand suction dredgers are divided into 15-40, 60-80, 80-100, 100-120, 120-150, and 150 cubic meters or more according to their capacity.
3. According to the sand suction method, sand mining dredgers are divided into self-unloading sand dredger and ordinary sand dredger.
4. An ordinary sand dredging boat can extract and screen sand 15-150m³/h from a depth of 3-15 meters underwater. The cabin is divided into three parts, with floating bodies on both sides and a sand cabin in the middle. The traveling speed is 15km/hour, and the diesel engine drives the hanger.

A. Flushing suction dredger

The working principle of the flushing suction dredger is to use a high-pressure water pump to generate pressurized water, and the high-pressure water jet impacts the sediment, make it wetted, disintegrated and flowed to formed into mud slurry. Then the mud slurry is extracted by sand pump and delivered by pipeline to the work area. Sand mining dredger is widely used in rivers, lakes, sea, reservoirs for sand pumping and dredging, blow filling construction, etc. It has played an important role in the Yellow River dredging and embankments, port dredging, coastal land reclamation.

The composition of the flushing suction dredger.

1. The sand pumping components include sand pump, sand pump power (diesel engine or motor), high-pressure water pump, high-pressure water pump power, supporting bracket, faucet. If the flushing suction dredger is driven by diesel engine,  an auxiliary fuel tank should be installed.
2. Auxiliary device for sand mining dredger hull fixation and movement. The hoist cooperates with the anchor to realize the hull fixation. The hull movement can be a mobile hoist, and sometimes using a propeller to move.
3. Sand pumping pipeline system includes sand suction pipe, sand conveying pipe, pipeline floating device (floating board or pontoon), etc.
